New Innovations and opportunities

Paper Fire Rookie, initially started with a team of 2 myself and a developer. We had one requirement and that was to make an experience for the emerging VR market. We prototyped for weeks on end, experimenting with early VR headsets. Working out what worked and what did not, it was bleeding edge technology mixed with the wild west, many hazards, charlatans and hard lessons to be learnt.

We later successfully pitched to stakeholders and received funding to grow to a humble sized team allowing greater scope and ultimately setting Ultimerse’s foundation.

Each level was painstakingly designed to offer a different innovative hook, from big boss fights with explosions and high intensity battles to eerie mansions rich with lore building and suspense.

No dull moments wanted, only laughs and a great experience for all.

Over 2 million unique views on YouTube and hundreds of lets plays videos uploaded. Paper Fire Rookie was successful launch of a new IP. I’m extremely proud to be part of something that gave so much happiness and joy to so many people.
